An allegorical tale in which three-dimensional chalk numbers (amazingly like us) must learn life lessons about worth and reality. These numbers live in Chalkland where everything is made of chalk and where male and female are represented by odd and even numbers. "Perfect 10" ("I don't mind learning, it's just being taught that bothers me") thinks everyone wants to be like her until she joins a class in a special school where pupils learn that Chalkland is unreal and that in Numberland every number is truly perfect.
